A second year medical student from Boston University is charged with the murder of a woman who was advertising herself on craiglists offering massages. The man charged of murder is also suspected in a case of robbing a prostitute, the lead detective said that this woman was working in a similiar field. this is interesting to me because it shows that craigslist is being used a tool for prostitution.

burger king takes down racist advertisment after complaint

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20090415/od_nm/us_burgerking_odd

you can read about the particulars of the advertisment in the article, but it was basically a poster portraying a rather small mexican man draped in a poncho sporting his nations flag next to a large rough and tough looking american cowboy. Why burger king would find it approriate to make this advertisment is beyond comprehension, even if BK has no personal vendetta's against the nation it is still an insulting image and the BK advertising advisors need to think a little more before making poor choices like this one.

is clean humor the route to success?

http://www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/04/14/brian.regan.comedy.tour/index.html

Comedian Brian Regan is interviewed and reviewed in this aritcle by cnn. In the article they praise Regan's squeaky clean style saying that he doesn't need to use the dirty tactics that other comedians use. In my opinion you can not judge a comedian, musician, or any kind of performer based on their style. You may not like some stlyes, but you can not say that all comedians should take a note on Regans style and clean up their acts. Ones act should not be subject to critizism based on the "cleanliness" of their humor.
